ENERGY SAVINGS DURING THE WINTER

When the weather turns colder, try setting your thermostat on 68 degrees, especially during the day if no one is home. Now, this may be too uncomfortable for some family members, so you need to adjust it accordingly. But know this: energy.gov estimates that turning your thermostat down 10-15 degrees during the winter can result in as much as 15 percent in energy savings!
